NOVAFIL is a sand filled acrylic textured coat designed for use on all-weather tennis courts. This coating has a non-slip texture with a unique low abrasive feature that makes playing on a Novacrylic surface easier on players and tennis balls. Because the aggregates used in this product are non-angular, the sharp edges found in ordinary sand are not present. This allows us to produce maximum texture with minimum abrasion. The reduction in abrasion means that the playing surfaces will not be “sticky”. A surface having these features is more comfortable and less tiresome than other acrylics to play on. Injuries such as shin-splints and “monkey muscle” problems are lessened and tennis balls and shoes last longer.

Novafil hides the profile of the aggregates used in the pavement, fills minor voids, and leaves a uniform surface for the application of Novacoat.

• Novafil is supplied as a concentrate and must be diluted prior to use.

• Novafil is designed to be used as a base coat for Novacoat as described in Appendix A, 3-coat color system

Minimum Application Temperature is 50°F and rising.

Application is with a neoprene rubber squeegee.
